Mounjaro Prescribing in Devon Primary Care

You may have seen recent news about the medication Mounjaro (tirzepatide) being made available in GP practices as part of NHS England’s weight management strategy.

Please be aware:
This is not a commissioned service for General Practice in Devon at this time, and we are currently unable to prescribe Mounjaro within primary care locally. Medications like Mounjaro are only available through secondary care and when meeting very strict referral criteria.

We understand weight management is a priority for many of our patients. For more information, please visit:
