If you are struggling with low mood, anxious thoughts, stress or sleep difficulties, help is available.
TALKWORKS is Devon’s NHS Talking Therapies service, here to help adults over the age of 18, living in Devon (outside Plymouth which is covered by Plymouth Talking Therapies), improve their mental and physical wellbeing.
Treatment and support includes one-to-one sessions with a therapist or counsellor, interactive group courses, wellbeing workshops and access to online self-help. As TALKWORKS is part of the NHS, all treatment and support is available free of charge.
You do not need a referral from your GP to access TALKWORKS – you can refer yourself online by completing the online self-referral form or over the phone by calling 0300 555 3344 (phone lines are open Monday to Friday from 9am – 4:45pm).
For more information on the different treatment options within the service, please visit the TALKWORKS website or call 0300 555 3344.
Please see a copy of their leaflet here.
