NHS 111 is a 24 hour telephone advice service which provides confidential healthcare advice and information.  NHS 111 advisers use their skills and experience to advise on the most appropriate course of action to take.

Don’t forget - always dial 999 for life-threatening conditions such as:

  • Severe chest pain
  • Severe difficulty breathing
  • Unconsciousness
  • Severe loss of blood
  • Severe burns or scalds
  • Choking
  • Suspected stroke
  • Fitting or concussion
  • Drowning
  • Severe allergic reactions
